Why Use Advertising Signs

Inexpensive. Compared to other forms of advertising, such as radio, TV and newspaper, advertising signs won’t take much out of your advertising budget.

Identify your business. One practical use of a building sign is to identify your location to a customer who may be looking for you or to notify pedestrians and drivers in the area where you are located.

Targeted advertising. A sign on your company building or in the neighborhood reaches an audience that can easily get to your business and take advantage of your products and services. One issue with broader forms of advertising like TV and radio is that you are paying for the message to reach many people who are far away from your business and have no interest to travel across town to see you.

Always on. A sign is always there where it can be read by potential customers. The same isn’t true of that radio ad that runs four times a day, or the TV ad that’s on twice during the week. The message from an on-premises or building sign is repeated continually to people who regularly travel in the area. Name recognition is a huge part of advertising.
